Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MuLV, MMLV) Reverse Transcriptase is a reverse transcriptase optimized by genetic recombination technology, derived from the deletion mutant of Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus(M-MuLV, MMLV). This enzyme has high sensitivity and excellent processivity, and can effectively synthesize cDNA up to 11kb. It is particularly suitable for applications such as constructing full-length cDNA libraries and performing real-time quantitative PCR.
Due to its lack of RNase H activity, it does not degrade template RNA during cDNA synthesis, thereby improving reverse transcription efficiency and product length, making it an ideal choice for synthesizing the first strand of cDNA from total RNA or mRNA templates.
In addition, the enzyme can also be used for labeling DNA probes and RNA analysis, and is widely used in various molecular biology experiments such as subsequent PCR, qPCR, cDNA second-strand synthesis, and cDNA library construction.
